Wonderful place in Airdrie

We came to Airdrie for a Curling Bonspiel, Had a wonderful stay at this property. If we come back to Airdrie, would definitely stay here again.

This place was disgusting. There was dried urine on the back of the toilet seat and on the floor by the toilet. There was dried on toothpaste on the vanity. There was a hard water film on the countertops. The taps in the tub were rusted. The shelf in unit in the tub was rusted. When you plugged anything into the outlet in the bathroom, the lights flickered the kitchen unit. The cupboards were all dirty. The kitchen table had Mac tack on it, and it was all peeling cracked and lifted. Both bedrooms looked like someone had just thrown the comforter and pillows on the bed or as if someone just got out of bed . The sheets were horribly wrinkled as if someone had slept in it. There was a towel on the floor in one of the bedrooms and pails in the tub. The bathroom and second bedroom closets reeked of cat pee and the host put a scented plug in in the bathroom to cover the smell. I called the hosts he finally came and said it would take him 10 minutes to clean the unit. He grabbed a dry towel and rubbed the urine ! I told him it would take more then 10 mins and that he had to use disinfectant as it was body fluids. I refused to stay and they refused to give me a refund . Vrbo was involved and they reviewed all the pictures I sent them and they agreed it was filthy. The host is very difficult to deal with and the rental unit is filthy.

Over all a great stay and great place. Two minors issues a small stove would have been a better pick than then a 2 burner hot plate and wall outlets on the counter would not accept the toaster oven plug. We had to use it on the floor other than that everything else was fine
