"A wonderful unexpected find along our trip north on rt 1. A few miles off the main rd, paved, unpaved,paved. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed. There are 3 suites in the main lodge. Ours had a private bath down the hall. The kitchen was huge and is shared by all visitors. Bring your own food and drinks. The closest food is Eastport, Calais or Lubec. Take time to enjoy a canoe or kayak trip on the local lake, few min drive through yhe woods. The lodge was clean and well maintained and the bed was so comfortable. "

Not a problem for me, but could have been! Really appreciated fully stocked kitchen!! Enjoyed cooking most meals during 2 week stay. Already looking forward to next year!!"
