" Hotel.com was amazing absolutely no problem with you. But the clerk screwed up royally. I can not even rate them right now. It was totally one discriminar yes. When you speak another language with disregard to your customer in front of you to someone I assume his manger in the same language thinking your customer is a idiot dumb or stupid to understanding what you are saying in a different language is disrespectful perood. You do not know your customers knowledge period. So I understand and i recorded his talk to manager cause i made him fix what happened. I did exactly as he asked and it was very unpleasant experience and i will never be back and everyone will know what happened. Don't ever disrespect a customer. They were paid in full exactly as he asked and I'm not full able to discuss yet. I have a heart for all of humanity and multiple friends around the world never disrespect someone who is bring you business. I was very angry and it was absolutely nothing Hotel.com did. You guys were awesome. I've there twice in 3 weeks and both were issues. But this was aweful. He berated women and it rolled on. My husband was very upset. But i have proof of his language. And i have friends are very angry. But maybe tomorrow i will feel less hurtful. I'm hurt because it was wrong and disrespectful period to everyone but today it was me "

"Spacious room with thoughtful amenities. The pool/ courtyard area was relaxing with its landscaping design. The breakfast eggs were delicious. Perfect location to visit student at Samford University"

"The room was a good size! Bed and pillows were comfy! There was some chipping of paint in the room and paintings off the wall. Breakfast was very good with a lot of selections! The only complaint is the walls seem to be thin. We heard a baby yelling and crying on and off all night! It was a bit frustrating! Definitely if we come to the area again it wouldn’t stop us from staying again!"

"Will not stay here again. The staff was friendly however I was not a fan of the cleanliness. There was something spilled in the floor all throughout the lobby into the elevator. It was still there the next morning when we went to leave as well. Was never cleaned up. There was a musky smell throughout the entire place. In serious need of renovations. Went to find something to drink and all they had available was at the front desk in a cooler that apparently did not work. It was hot… Went to get ice and the ice maker was broke. Went to 3 different floors before I got one that worked. Convenient location and friendly staff but that’s all this place had going for it. "

"As of April 2026 this place is nearly new. It’s a unique set up to me. It’s a Homewood Suites on one side and HGI on the other, shares the same lobby. My only 2 issues are that breakfast on the HGI side is lactate $15, and it’s prob not worth $5. Empty dishes, empty coffee and non helpful staff. We had a check in issue and were told the manager was off on Saturdays and could not help us, but he was actually just around the corner and finally came out. It will take a little intentional effort to keep the hotel nice and new."
