"I checked in late evening. Door from rear parking area was locked without intercom and i had to walk in the dark around hotel to front entrance. Front desk person was on break (no sign) and I had to wait for a few minutes to get key. Once in the room, things were fine. Hotel is clean and convenient."

So I have been charged by both companies. After talking to an EXPEDIA customer service rep. He started talking about the 3rd party they used to book my reservation and they have to contact the hotel to get my money back. I am a platinum member with EXPEDIA and this is a first. Hmmm.
