"My partner and I recently had a wonderful stay at Victoria House. We were warmly greeted by Jan and she made us feel very welcome throughout. We also loved meeting her dogs, Oscar and Honey! The room was very comfortable and the house is in a great location. We used the regular local buses to visit nearby towns and to visit Snowdon. We had a great time in Caernarfon and if we visit again, we will certainly stay at Victoria House."

"We enjoyed our stay. The location is great. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. They gave us good advice on the surrounding trails. The room offered beautiful views, was clean and well maintained. The property had a wonderful garden where you can relax after a long day walking. "Kim is a lovely lady. Kim's Retreat is excellent. We had a short visit and would have loved to stay longer. We will definitely be back. Kim's Retreat comes highly recommended. Morgan loved the treats and said he wants to go again. P.S. The views are lovely"

"This is a lovely property just off the coast of North Wales. Quiet, comfortable and very well equipped. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin make for a comfortable family break. "Super clean modern bright cottage. This was lovely place to stay 4 of us really loved the cottage. We enjoyed sitting with a glass of wine watching the sun set. And enjoying meals together in the spacious kitchen. Great area to discover North Wales. Rhianon was very warm and helpful. Could not have been better, we will go back another time to explore more."

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"We booked very last minute and Karen couldn’t have been more helpful! We needed a base near Snowdon and this is a 15 minute drive away. The site itself is just what you’d hope : a bar ( Friday night was bingo!), a lovely river, the grounds beautifully kept and a well stocked shop with all sorts from loo roll to jewellery! "Great location and our room no 21 was very well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with a power shower and very clean. We had breakfast which was superb value for money and the service outstanding. This is a pub/hotel full of character. The staff here are friendly and accommodating. We will be back"
