"Our stay was kind of like the ultimate Glamping. . The owners provided everything we could possibly need for our stay . We had a large area that included a lot of seating, outdoor fireplace and a bar . Just a short walk and you arrive at the private beach, accessible 24/7 . We were meant by Carlos after given great directions by his wife Angelia , and he took us right to our place . Security is awesome. The owners even stopped by with their daughter to drop off a bottle of a local vineyards wine...

"My husband and I wanted to kids and mother in law on a quick trip down to Mexico and decided on Ensenada. We didn’t want to stay in the crowded areas of downtown with all the partiers so this home was perfect! We took the kids down to La bufadora and the safari zoo park just down the street! Water was still cold but we put our feet in and the kids didn’t care and got in the beach. A bit of a drive from the downtown area of Ensenada but knowing there was security was worth it! Will stay here...

"The location was very impressive and the outdoor living areas were phenomenal. If you want to be on the beach it would be hard to find a better location. The unit came with a bundle of firewood and sitting by the fire on the beach was magnificent. The directions provided were accurate and we had no trouble finding the place. Check in went perfectly as described. Internet service with Wi-Fi was reliable and fast during our stay. I only have two negatives. As others have commented the wall...

"If there was one thing to take away from this trip, it is that WE collectively as a people do not stop to truly relax and enjoy our surroundings anymore. We are constantly inundated with distractions from our phones, computers and televisions...This place will change all that. Castillo del Mar is architecturally beautiful with wood beamed ceilings and giant glass windows that open onto the expansive decks over the Pacific ocean.
