"We arrived about 10 minutes before check in. Previous guest was still there and had refused to leave at check out time. The place was a mess and smelled of Lysol which was used to cover up the smell of cigarette smell. Full ash tray in house. The staff was very apologetic, but had there work cut out for themselves trying to clean the house. The owner had another unoccupied, but more expensive house available, but the staff were not authorized to let us have that one and they were unable to get in touch with owner/manager in US. We returned about three hours later and house was almost ready. After that, our stay was fine, but it was not a good start. Not really the staff or management's fault, but it would have been nice if they had just shifted us over to the unoccupied house. Besides the bad start, the onsite staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. We were two families (with two 13yos and two 10yos) and had a wonderful time swimming in the ocean and in the pool, walking on the beach, playing volleyball and horseshoe, and watching the whales and birds. Leo and Gaby were wonderful, very responsive and caring and the dinners were amazing!"

"We enjoyed our 5 night stay in March 2024. We stayed in the main house. It has a full kitchen with everything you need to cook yourselves a great meal. There are few restaurants in the village a 10 minute walk away. The building is a work of art. Quiet and just on the edge of town. There was someone there each morning asking if we had any needs. They fixed a few minor things right away. There is snorkeling gear, beach chairs and umbrellas that you can borrow from the house. The owners gave a detailed run down on how to get there and what to pick up in San Josue del Cabo, as there is only a convienence store in town. And the hiking trails in town."

"Here is my honest review — and I have traveled to Turks, USVI, Aruba, French Riviera, and Italy. This resort is over priced. From the food and drinks to the room rates, keep in mind, you will be charged an additional $400 US dollars in taxes and fees alone, in addition to your nightly rate. Drinks are $25-$30…plan to spend about $150 for breakfast, and anywhere between $260-$600 for lunch and dinner. This resort was nice and I booked a date at $1300 per night, only to find out the real rate was $1788. It’s a nice resort but these things have left a sour taste in my mouth. And for that reason I will definitely not be back to any 4S resorts ever again, anywhere. This is also the last time I’ll be visiting Cabo. I’d rather go to Turks and Caicos for the prices we paid. Your employees were excellent. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay in the Vista Suite. The sunrises were gorgeous, views of whales spouting in the distance, many hours of relaxing and reading in the comfy hammocks. There are plenty of activities available within walking distance. We enjoyed a nearby hike, meals at local restaurants, and an amazing snorkeling trip. We hope to return soon."
