"Very nice hotel- part of the Hallmark chain. Room was lovely and ocean front. Comfortable bed. My main issue was the staff. I booked 3rd party day of. I was in and out of cell service and the staff left an important voicemail that I pulled over on the side of the road to return. They wanted to know my dog’s names (why is this important before I get there?) and were pressing me to confirm every detail I just booked. It was a non-refundable booking being so last minute, and even if they are “just checking” it would do nothing. It was a waste of time and the person on the phone was obviously irritated when I asked why she needed to call me when I was about to be there and could deal with this in person. A different person checked me in and basically just handed me my keys and a map. No other explanation. I’d stay here agin for the hotel itself, but please work on training your staff:"

"First off the beard man at the desk where we checked in at was #1! Dude was personable, respectful, courteous, and informative…next level good at his role. 2nd the water pressure in the shower was fantastic compared to several other places we’ve stayed at on the coast. 3rd was the location, it was on the water and had a great view! 4th was the parking…underneath the hotel…that was great! I didn’t have to worry about traffic on a busy street and it even had an awesome view of the ocean and beach. Throw in the close parking to the elevator and you have a win for me! 5th was the room! Comfy beds, clean, although a bit dated for some people, it was fine for us! Last but not least, ice machine on same floor worked flawlessly! For what we paid on short notice…less than 200 a night for ocean front view I was extremely happy! Thank you again bearded man at the check in desk!"
