"Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. "What a wonderful hotel. The staff was extremely helpful. Very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and well kept. It is very easy to find. If you see Fort Massac State park going north you have passed it. Going south go past the park and it will be on the left. The breakfast was I do believe the best we have ever had at any hotel where we have stayed. I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for all you did. We had a wonderful time. P.S. don't forget to go to the Superman museum and Fort Massac."
