Property was a nice concept and overall would have been pretty in its prime. Really needs an update and a cleaning. Garbage stacked up outside of rooms towels too just on the floor in the hallways. Rug in hallway really needed a clea ing stains eveywhere. The bed was the worse part. So worn that when my wife and i layed on it you sank to the board below. No supprt. When i advised the lady at tge counter in the AM. She was very sympathetic but did nothing to make up for it. Spent over $200 for 1 night. Could've stayed at a much better place.

Room smelled like old wet carpet ( jacuzzi suite). Hotel needs updated ( outlets were loose and didnt hold the air wick diffusers we bought). Random garbage on main hallway floors that never got picked up. However, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We understand the hotel is know for the old world feel and charm but it's unlikely we will stay again anytime soon.

I don’t think I’ll stay here again. The air conditioner did not work. Room was very hot. I didn’t receive the “VIP BENEFITS” that it states I should have gotten, due to me getting the honeymoon suite. Some of the things around the jacuzzi were broken also. This hotel needs major upgrades!

Very unique property with large rooms. We had the honeymoon suite, fantastic room with fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and full view of the beautiful lobby. It is, however, starting to show it's age. The carpets are shabby, the power outlets in our room are all worn out and need to be replaced, everything we plugged in kept falling out of the wall. Our mattress was severely worn out, creaky springs and all. My wife and I both need massages after 2 nights on that thing.

This hotel reminds me of a visit to an Italian city. There are many esthetics to create a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The room is luxurious and comfortable. The staff ate helpful and friendly.

The property has a very unique theme & is beautifully appointed. It is a bit dated... there were at least 2 areas in our room that we could tell something "used to be" on walls- 1 was in the shower which had no where except the floor to set toiletries- I believe the item missing would've helped with that. We also had a jacuzzi tub in our room & it did get used both nights we were there. The hotel did seem to be very clean.

This is a classic elegant hotel; extra wide corridors lead to the rooms with wing chairs and side tables throughout. The elegant foyer and front desk area are matched by the beautiful European-style garden atrium lined with bistro tables. The rooms have a generous shower and separate vanity area. The sleeping area is large and a large window with beautiful window treatments add to the beauty.

Unique styling. Second floor water leak down upon our 1st floor ceiling. Water leaked around the shower surround and drained into our shower. Recognized 7-3-24 at/near 10:30 pm. No staff to witness. At/near 11pm the Guest (me) was taking pictures and sending emails of the condition to Garden Place Hotel. Following morning there was no contact from Management. GPH relocated Guest to a different room. Poorly managed, dirty, unable to respond appropriately to serious issues.
