"The bathroom and bedding were clean. The location is great for downtown and MSU. The front desk was cheerful. Didn’t eat onsite. The property is dated - carpet has stains. Curtains had a rip. The rooms have dim lighting and not many plugs for charging. "

"Came in rushed through Check in. Nothing explained. Bar was supposed to be open by sign. Sat down there for several hours no one came and asked if we wanted a drink. The restaurant is pizza we did not want that. Breakfast was nothing special. "

"The first room they sent us to had not been cleaned. They did warn us that it might not have been cleaned yet. The second room they gave us had an awful smell but we were leaving so I thought if the air ran for several hours maybe it would get better but it did not. The bathroom was not the cleanest. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but they were completely booked and could not give us another room so we had to move hotels. They did allow us to cancel the other 2 nights. The staff was very nice. They gave me some spray air freshener but it didn't do anything at all. I should have told them about the smell when we first got the room. "
