This beautiful corner residence in the Mountain Thunder Lodge enjoys a premier location at the base of Breckenridge Ski Resort, offering fantastic ski-in access and a south- and west-facing wrap-around deck with views of Peak 10. In this unbeatable location close to the lifts and town, you can relax in front of the gas fireplace, lounge outside on the deck, and enjoy use of shared amenities that include multiple hot tubs, fitness rooms, and an outdoor heated pool.

This property sits a quarter-mile from the Breck Connect Gondola, which offers direct service to Peaks 7 and 8. As part of the Mountain Thunder Lodge, you'll have access to amenities that include a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, fitness rooms, outdoor gas grills, and a complimentary shuttle service. If you take the shuttle to One Ski Hill Place, you'll be able to use additional hot tubs, indoor pools, fitness rooms, a steam room/sauna, a pool table, and a two-lane bowling alley. A quarter-mile east and you'll find yourself on historic Main Street, which is lined with shops, restaurants, galleries, and museums. Great location

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Thunder. Great access to a ski trail and walking distance to Main Street. The condo was very clean with a nice balcony and comfortable king bed. Our only complaint was noise from construction trucks at 6am. Otherwise excellent!

Convenient place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, it was quite spacious and clean. It also had all the amenities including a fully stocked kitchen and laundry just outside the door. The only thing you will want to bring is hand soap and toiletries. It is also a very short walk to main street. Parking included in the garage.

Great location-spacious condo

Spacious 2-bedroom/2 bathroom condo close to everything you need. A short walk to Main St. and in the winter time the gondola is right around the corner for easy access to the slopes. It also looks like you can ski to the parking lot of the condo (if you know where you are going off the main slopes). The roomy master bathroom has a tub/shower combo AND a separate shower along with 2 sinks. The laundry facilities are right outside in the hallway and were free. The parking garage was underground for winter time convenience. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and roomy patio. We would definitely stay here again!

Girls Breckenridge ski trip

Third time staying at Mountain Thunder Lodge. It’s a perfect location with a five minute walk to town. It’s a quick shuttle ride to ski and at the end of the day easy to ski back to the lodge. The condo has all the amenities and comfort we enjoy for a girls getaway. From ski lockers & hot tubs to the spacious condo stocked with all the kitchen essentials for cooking.

Everything we needed for Summer in Breckenridge

The condo was well equipped with towels, TP, cleaning supplies, everything we needed. The furniture and beds were good. Parking in the garage was great. The building is right next to the pool and two hot tubs. We just couldn’t think of any complaints. It was great!

Family ski weekend at Breckenridge

Our family includes 2 teen boys. This condo was perfect, 2 bed/ 2 bath. Full kitchen. Convenient ski locker. Didn't really need to drive once we parked in the parking garage upon arriving. Location was great, only 2 blocks/ easy walk to downtown. So could walk to restaurants, gift shops, rental places. Gondola to get up to ski lifts was right across street. Very comfortable and convenient.

Wonderful condo, great location

My husband and two teenage children had a wonderful stay. The condo was very clean, beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything you could want to make dinner and breakfast. Having a kitchen saves so much money. The location was the best. Right across the street from the gondola. You just take the tunnel from the condo. We walked to Main Street every night!!! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Also, the ski lockers were great. We had such a great time. We will defiantly stay here again.

Great Summer Getaway

Great property and experience. The location and amenities (pool) were the most important. Stayed in early August and while it has no AC, using the windows, provided fans, we were comfortable. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat FYI: This property is managed by the company Vacasa. Positives: - Spacious - Fantastic wrap around porch with updated furniture (not what was pictured) - New/clean carpet - New living room furniture (not what was pictured) - Kitchen provided every possible utensil/pan - Night lights for the "kids" room! - Comfortable beds and pillows - Facility updated and felt secure - Laundry easy to access and free. Downside: - 6 day stay; one coffee pod. - TV's were difficult to use/no smart TV options - Living room chairs uncomfortable. - Terrible water pressure. - Responsibilities were unclear from the host Examples: - The check-out directions on-site had a different check-out time than the app. - Where to leave the keys upon check out was unclear and differed; requested clarification and didn't receive clear guidance from the host - Check-out instructions varied: Specifically one did not indicate stripping the sheets was necessary and one directed it be done - Were given 2 keys, but check out guidance said we should have received 3 and that we'd be charged for any that weren't returned. The confusion didn't impact our trip in a huge way, but it was frustrating. We'd come back and, if we did, hopefully some of the kinks with the host are ironed out.

Enough issues, I'll look elsewhere next time we go to Breckenridge

The Vacassa general support number is USELESS! Any issue I called with just got noted with no one local getting back to me with any efficiency. First day, got into room to find trash behind the couch, socket in master bedroom that didn't work, and both TVs in bedrooms unplugged. Got worse the 2nd day, when I ended up locked out after dark as keys had been disabled by Mountain Thunder since it was a new month, yet no one had gotten me new ones. I was locked out for almost three hours as Mountain Thunder wouldn't give me new ones (even though they had them behind the counter) until someone local from Vacassa came up. Again, the general support number got me no where, but they wouldn't give me the local number (no idea why). To make it even worse, one supervisor said she'd help me and call back in 10 minutes, yet then she went home. The local Vacassa manager is a nice guy but he was MIA for the 3 hours I had to sit around waiting to get back to my room, my belongings, and my vehicle!

Nice condo, but had a few issues

The condo was great! However, it was not easy to find check-in location- there were multiple buildings at the address and we weren’t given the suite/bldg #. We were not given complex location or any additional info/map-just an envelope with keycards. Condo was a few blocks away. Our key worked garage so we unpacked the car onto a cart & went to lobby only to discover we were at the wrong building. When we got in there was not ANY toilet paper or wash cloths in the unit. We had to go out and get our own after spending hours trying to get through to Vacasa. We finally did the next day and the items arrived a day after that. The front desk would not assist or provide anything because we rented from a third party. Also, I know there were restrictions due to COVID but we were under the impression that the pool/hot tub would be open with capacity limits - the same as other condo complexes in Breck. The beautiful pool was one of the reasons we chose the unit, but it was closed. I feel it should have been noted. It was a big bummer for us! Lastly, the noise from construction on the parking garage across the street was non-stop 7:00AM-5:00PM during the week. Sitting on the balcony (another reason we decided on the unit) was not very peaceful and we had to get up every morning to close the windows because of the noise. Despite all that, the condo itself was great except for some mold in the shower and in a great location to town in Summer!
