"I’m really sorry to say we had to abandon plans at the very last minute as my dad who has terminal cancer took ill and had to have a life saving operation on the Friday so we had to postpone our holiday. I’m sure you can’t but anything you can do about a partial refund? "

"Last minute booking for weekend away. Lovely, very large, honeymoon room with 4 poster bed, mini bar etc. Staff fantastic: pleasant, cheerful, very polite & couldn't do enough for you. Hotel centrally located within easy walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants, Knaresborough castle etc. Fantastic breakfast. Free parking. Would definitely recommend & stay there again!"

"I have been to the Wrens a few times and found it excellent. So very disappointed to see the pub shut and great difficulty getting access to the room. I appreciate the building work on the road outside caused a problem. We will give it one more chance and see if things are better. "
