Cottage in Boothbay Harbor - Dock Access, Tennis, Linekin Bay

Hillside is a charming, old-fashioned cottage located in Bayville, a small summer community at the head of Linekin Bay in Boothbay Harbor. Bayville has a nostalgic feel, complete with its own little post office and all the things that make a classic Maine summer so special. Community amenities include an association dock, tidal beach, community house, tennis court, and playground. It`s the kind of place where simple summer days turn into lasting memories.

Inside, the cottage features a spacious living room with a fireplace, a separate dining room, and a TV room with a sleeper sofa. There is also a downstairs bathroom with a shower and laundry, located just off the kitchen through a separate door. Upstairs, you`ll find three bedrooms and a second bathroom with a charming clawfoot tub. Guests can also enjoy the open outdoor shower. The cottage has a regular drip coffee maker.

The Bayville community dock and tidal beach are just a four-minute walk away, while the tennis courts and playground are right across the street. Nearby Boothbay Region Land Trust trails offer a scenic walk to the East Boothbay General Store, or you can head in the other direction toward downtown Boothbay Harbor via Barrett`s Park. With its rustic charm and welcoming summer community, Hillside is a wonderful spot to slow down, enjoy the coast, and make some memories.

IMPORTANT:
Instead of placing a security deposit hold on your card, we include a small, non-refundable $25 damage waiver in the reservation total—so your funds remain available throughout your trip. This Waiver covers damages up to $300.

Please note: This property is pet-friendly. Reservations are subject to a $200 nonrefundable pet fee upon booking. Guests who bring unauthorized pets to the property without prior approval will incur a $500 fee and may be asked to leave.

• Maximum occupancy is as shown on the listing. Additional guests are subject to $25/person/night and may result in cancellation without prior approval.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property (indoors or outdoors).
• Open flames (fireplaces, fire pits, etc.) require prior written approval.
• No parties, events, or large gatherings without written approval.
• Waterfront/dock use (if applicable) is at your own risk and may require an additional waiver.
• Up to two (2) pets are permitted with prior approval. A non-refundable $200 pet fee applies per reservation. Guests traveling with a pet must notify Sea Maine Vacation Rentals prior to arrival so we can confirm approval. Pets arriving without prior approval are considered unauthorized and are subject to a minimum $500 unauthorized pet fee, additional cleaning or damage charges, and may result in cancellation of the reservation. ADA-compliant service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law.
