"Overall it is a nice place and convenient for local travel. I really think the $40 per person per day resort fee is outrageous. A lot of the place is privately owned or under construction. Your resort fee gets you towels and a chair at the beach, access to a small water park. A shuttle and WiFi. It would be more honest to raise the daily rate and drop the fee. One timer for us and can’t recommend it to others. "

"We chose this hotel based on the information on their web site and Expedia. Both used the words LUXURY it is not, the room was no more better than a Holiday Inn Express to be honest. The bed was nice, the t.v. nice. Here were our probelms : Desk Chair would not stay in a lock postion, kept going down to where it was impossible to sit in and do work on the computer had to use bed pillows to place in the chair and sit on those to get the height needed to work. Elevator shaby and very very slow, took the stairs, should not have done that the smell of mold was really bad. Black mold in the shower, under the lip of the step to get into the shower. Small fridge useless, not cold, looked for knob to adjust temp it was missing. We had the " Quite" room, nothing Quite about that room, the hallways were loud, you could hear what was being used in the rooms above you. The web sites said we woud have bathrobes, and designer toiletries, we had neither of these. We were told by front desk that all the rooms had been updated due to the two Hurricanes, with that said, there was a hole in the wall next to the bed, and dirt along the base boards, there were cracks in the bath flooring, all looked horrible, not LUXURY at all. Coffee maker did work, but would been nice to have instructions in how to fill it and use it, overflowed. We were on the thrid floor which was adverstsed : 2nd and 3rd floor there is no guaranteed view, but it is the quitter side of the hotel). which it was not quite."

"Quiet area on side street just off the major highway. Staff willing to help in any way they could. Always seems to be full. McDonald’s and other fast food nearby as well as a Walmart if you forgot to bring anything "

"I liked the fact that it had an old school 1960s Hay Day vibe. But amenities were lacking. Think they should have at least had an ice machine or towels to use by the pool so we didn't have to use our two bath towels for showers"

"Staff was very helpful, with our early arrival and some items we left behind by mistake. Parking is free and convenient. Small hotel, not downtown, but next door to a convenience store with food, alcohol, and gifts. "
