"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We love the resort and have returned many times, including to the Quinta da Ecosta Velha part of the resort. The villa manager and owner were friendly, helpful and efficient. Everything went really smoothly checking in and out. The villa is lovely and bright with lovely decor and a home from home feeling. Aircon is also good for stiller days but there's a gentle breeze most of the time. Indoor and outdoor areas to eat and lounge and lots of space. Less than a minutes walk to the shared pool. Would highly recommend."

"We loved Burgau. The VRBO was great for us. It was a little hard to find. That was the only difficulty. The apartment had what we needed. It was right across the street from 2 restaurants. We loved the view from the upstairs balcony. We would gladly stay here again. It was great for the two of us. It would be tight for any more than 3 or so. "

"Thank you for such a pleasant experience. Everything was clean, and the location was so convenient. It was less than a 3 minute was in any direction to get to the beach, yummy restaurants and the market. Having parking was very convenient, as street parking was rarely available. The village was very quaint, with interesting points of interest at every corner. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, I think this was our most restful stay for our whole trip. Thank you so much for providing such a comfortable stay and making Burgau such a positive and memorable experience. "
