Very charming little hotel! The grounds are well kept and is very clean. Breakfast has a lot of selection and is very good. Close to old town and beaches( 10 min) the room was smaller and a bit dated, bed was comfortable and aircon worked great. Overall a great place to stay!

The hotel was set in an ideal location. Very spread out and felt very relaxing. The pool area was beautiful but we did not use as it was too cool outside for us. The room was spacious and we took advantage of the balcony at the end of the day. They breakfast buffet was amazing!!!!

Loved our stay here. It is indeed charming, and the pool is beautiful albeit cold - it relies on sun to heat it and at the end of March hadn’t had enough heat yet to be comfortable. A refreshing dip though! The onsite bar provides excellent options including some excellent G&T options! Rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated with antiques. Parking is as available on the surrounding streets which at times was a little challenging as we had a family member with limited mobility with us. If you don’t have that concern, it just might mean a short five minute walk - totally manageable. Lagos is very pretty and has some spectacular beaches. Highly recommend the seaside boardwalk leading to the lighthouse. Praia dos Pinheiros Is worth the trip down the stairs to see it - and once at the bottom, if you have cash you can hire a waiting boat to take you on a tour of the caves. The cove itself is not accessible by foot beyond the bottom of the stairs.
