"Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. "The Villa is beautiful situated on a golf resort which ensures picturesque surroundings and everything is neat and tidy, every villa is immaculate to look at! The villa had everything, was cosy, modern and in a gorgeous setting right next to the 13th tee! Communication from the owner Sarata was always super fast and checkin and checkout process so simple. "The beds were comfortable, and showers were also good. Do bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The washing machine, drying lines on the patio, iron and ironing board were helpful. Though we didn't cook, the kitchen was equipped with salt & pepper, oil and vinegar and a few other spices. "The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We cannot recommend the property enough. It is in such a great location, offering privacy, peace and a great sense of security. It is a home away from home! It is close to so many great local shops, restaurants, bars and beaches, yet is only a short drive away from other scenic locations. We would love to visit and stay again!"

"Everything was lovely about this apartment. We loved the sun kissed balcony which has a view of people climbing the mountain. The shower in the en-suite was great, which is always a bonus. All the rooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. "Have just had a lovely stay in Casa Pedro. What a perfect location. Everything you would need in walking distance. The view from the balcony wonderful and lovely restaurants on your doorstep. "We loved the setup of the apartment - it was easy to walk back and forth from the village, beach etc and it helped that it was on the same level as the shops, some of the restaurants and the parking. We ate breakfast on the terrace every day looking out over Burgau and the sea. The place had everything you needed for a relaxing holiday. Only possible changes I would suggest are AC in the bedrooms and a dishwasher, but these would be nice-to-haves rather than essential. "
