Check in time was 4 (with a lockbox). Arrived around 330 and was told we could not check in early and had to wait until 4, so sat in driveway until allowed to check in. Part of town is a little suspect and rough, although it’s only about 3 blocks to downtown. It’s not walkable though due to two lane road with no sidewalk.. Inside of house was clean and well appointed. House key was in lockbox outside, although my husband found a fake sprinkler head within 5 minutes of arriving with another house key in it, so that was a little unsettling. Driveway is dangerous and located at bottom of a blind hill. Has loose gravel and broken concrete making it difficult to get traction to try and get out of quickly.

Kristy was very helpful and always communicated in a prompt manner. The online pictures of the interior were on point and the bungalow was very clean. However, the exterior online pictures did not show the whole story. The bungalow is very cose to the main road with the rear of the house just feet from the railroad tracks. Although the only train that runs is the Blue Ridge Railway - not that big of a deal. On the ofher side of the tracks, however, was what looked like a run down industrial area (my spouse did not feel safe - especially with no alarm on the residence). The bungalow sits just outside downtown Bue Ridge which is a perk.

Great town and house. If you have a Harley good luck and a trailer as well. The parking goes down 7 feet and has rocks. Riding the bike down the driveway was like going down a half pipe.

House was nice and clean! Great location, close to town. The furniture is beautiful but not very comfortable. It’s made to beautiful but for relaxing.No ice maker! Some of the knives and dishes were missing but no big deal as we ate out most of the time. Overall the place was nice just not very comfortable!

The location and proximity to downtown was great. We walked into town every night for dinner. The renovations were top notch, and the house was very clean when we arrived. I would definitely book again!

Such a cozy spot. Well equipped with a lot of special touches. The front porch rockers were a favorite spot for my coffee time. The living room sofa was a little uncomfortable but I just prefer more of a high back to my seats. The sheets in the master were Devine. The shower was excellent. The home stayed nice and cool and we were there during extremely high heat. The oven looks new not sure it has ever been used.

Very nice and pleasant stay buy a couple of things could have made it better: a few coffee pods for late travelers to have when they get up, shower door did not properly, difficult to close curtains due to too small rods. Nice seating outside, beautiful interior.
