Take in gorgeous sunrises from the upper and lower decks, furnished with swings, rockers and a picnic table. Gates on the deck protect pets and children. Indoors the cabin is beautifully furnished with mountain rustic pieces, antiques and comfortable upholstered recliners. Morning Glory is fully loaded with first-class fixtures, furniture and electronics. Big screen LED TV's, 3D TV in game room, DIRECTV, DVR, 3D Blu-Ray DVD Player, Wi-Fi High Speed Internet, Pool Table, Ping Pong Table, Poker Table board games. This property is across the street from our other larger cabin, Eagles Rest (VRBO.com/188378), where we have 350 5 star reviews. Main Floor The Main floor has a well-equipped kitchen with knotty pine countertops and all the small electric appliances you need for meal and drink preparation. All new stainless appliances! The dining room has seating for 6\. The great room has a 55” flat screen TV, stone fireplace with gas logs and atrium doors open to endless mountain high view! There are two master suites, one with a king size pillowtop bed and one with a king size memory foam bed. In addition to the two full bathrooms connected to the bedrooms there is a half bath off the living room. Lower Level The lower level has a Pool Table, Ping Pong Table, Poker Table, small dry bar, a seating area focused on a flat screen 3D TV, and Blu-ray DVD player. There is a King Trundle Bed that converts to a king size bed and a full bathroom and laundry facilities on this floor. There is a private hot tub located on the patio outside on the lower level as well as a swing and rockers. Fire pit is ready for your campfire, wood is provided. Small dogs (limit 2) are allowed with prior approval of owner. Dogs must be on a leash when outside the cabin. Dogs must be kept off furniture, beds and quilts, blankets and linens. All paved roads and paved parking on the same level as main floor with no stairs at entry, and parking on road with easy stairs to front door to cabin, 5 minutes from downtown Historic Blue Ridge and 2 minutes from Merciers for the best fried apple pies! Morning Glory is only a short drive from the Scenic Blue Ridge Railroad, Aska Adventure Area, Horseback Riding, Ziplines, Kayaking, Tubing, Fishing, and special event in the Park. 1996 Olympic Ocoee River White Water Rafting just 15 minutes from cabin. We loved the rustic setting, and our bed was quite comfortable. This is an older home, built in the 70"s and we loved the character. Main level is as advertised: modern kitchen, clean bedrooms with upgraded bathrooms, and a nice outdoor porch area. Only downside is the lower level has a musty smell, but we didn’t spend any time there. We met our Besties from Illinois and loved the 2 king suites being on the main floor. The view was fantastic even with the occasional rain. Spent most of our time sitting on the unscreened porch with no bugs biting.The front landscape could be improved but we were out back almost all the time. Easy check-in process, well appointed (especially the kitchen), picturesque view off of the back patios and porch, clean, great customer service and responsive owner, cozy and charming cabin, our sons loved the recreation options of the lowest level, and the location is perfect...close to Mercier Orchard, downtown Blue Ridge, and the Aska recreation areas. Kathy was super responsive since booking in April and even accommodated a last minute date change due to work. Small issue with bedding on check in but Kathy has quick to respond and fixed situation immediately. We enjoyed all the games and hot tub was nice and clean. She thought of everything from hot tub towels to make up towels to kitchen appliances. Only thing I was disappointed in was the listing advertised the top deck was screened in and it IS NOT at all. Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy the deck as I am a mosquito magnet :( This is one of the reasons we booked the cabin as it said it was screened in. I was still able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the master bedroom. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. Thank you Kathy. ##### Tiffany E. We enjoyed the upper deck a good bit of the time. Be sure to wake up early to catch a gorgeous sunrise! There’s plenty to do downstairs in the gaming area. I had a question and Cathy answered quickly. I sure appreciate that. If you’re new to the area be sure to check out downtown Blue Ridge and Southern Charm restaurant.
