The detailed, custom craftsmanship and carefully curated touches will leave you dreaming of your next retreat at Misty Ridge. From the moment you drive up the private mountain road, you will be immersed in the serenity of the wooded surroundings. Pull into the driveway and walk through the door; no stairs are needed to fully appreciate the views and make the space yours. The main floor is the top floor, with an open concept, to let you discover your favorite area to gather around. Windows all around will let you connect with the outdoors. The family room centers around the beautiful stacked stone gas fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen and high-end stainless steel appliances will make meal prep a piece of cake, and the gorgeous custom-made dining table will bring you together. A KING master suite (the Trout room) with fantastic views and en-suite bathroom completes the picture of convenience on this floor. The cherry on top is our family's favorite: the back porch with an outdoor gas fireplace that wraps around the cabin will quickly become your favorite spot to relax, listen to the rushing river, watch the clouds move through the mountains, and admire the wildlife that visits from time to time. Misty Ridge Retreat downstairs offers a second KING master suite (the Buck room) with en-suite bathroom and just as beautiful views of the mountains. The third bedroom (the Hummingbird room) located across the entertainment area has a QUEEN bed with an attached bathroom and opens up to the pretty blue adirondacks chairs around the firepit. A retreat is not complete without well-deserved rest and pampering. We have procured hotel-quality linens and towels for your enjoyment, as well as William Roam hair and body care products for a memorable all-around high-end stay. Our cabin is nestled on 2 acres in a quiet mountain community. Walk up or down the mountain and enjoy the sounds and sights only the woods can offer. The location cannot be beaten. For the adventurers and explorers, you are right in the Aska Adventure Area. The Aska Trails connect to the Benton MacKaye trail in the Appalachian Mountains. This area is rich in countless trails within a short distance for hiking, mountain biking, the discovery of new waterfalls and creeks, canoeing, kayaking and tubing adventures. Down the road, you will find the Aska Rapids on the Toccoa river - bring your own tube or kayak or rent from a local vendor and float the river. For those looking for a restful escape, you are less than 15 minutes from historic and picturesque downtown Blue Ridge for shopping and dining and to ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. It is very well maintained, modern, and extremely clean. The view is unbelievable and one of the best features. The five adults in our group had plenty of room. Everything is very nice with the convenience of renters in mind. The owners are super responsive and easy to deal with. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. ##### Leila M. Lots of space for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner was very responsive with any questions we had. We had a lot of snow and rain one day and stayed in and enjoyed the home and scenery. The property has everything you need and is close to town, hiking, waterfalls, fishing, tubing, and anything else you want to do in the Blue Ridge area. Check in was easy and Paola & Tim were very attentive to any questions and provided us with great recommendations. We saw plenty of wildlife just sitting on the porch, to include daily turkeys, deer and a black bear one evening. We will be back and I highly recommend the property. ##### Ben B. We have stayed in cabins all over the Blue Ridge area, and this is one of our favorites. The cabin is located conveniently to downtown Blue Ridge, but also to the Toccoa River and numerous hiking trails around the Aska Adventure Area. The cabin was very well maintained and very clean. The views from the back decks are amazing, and River Bend Ln is in fairly good condition and getting to the cabin is easy. The host, Paola, was accessible and very helpful during our stay. The location was easy to find and the views were terrific from every room especially the covered back porch. The cabin was clean and we found the pool room a terrific way to unwind after a day of hiking and rafting. Just down the road from the cabin was a perfect location to stand out on the rocks of river. A short distance away was a hiking location with a waterfall. We took a day white water rafting and a spent some time in downtown Blue Ridge were we shopped and enjoyed coffee and snacks. We have been to a lot of North Georgia cabins and this one is definitely among the best. The views are great, the cabin is spacious, the appliances are high quality, and everything is clean and tidy. Its basically a 5-star hotel with the privacy of a mountain cabin. Just be aware that the road leading to the cabin is steep. Not an issue when we went in January, but take the mountain driving seriously and be prepared. The upside of that is that you can take a lovely walk up the road and enjoy brilliant views of the beautiful mountains around the cabin. Highly recommended overall. ##### Zlati P. The house is so beautiful, spacious and well stocked with all of the supplies and amenities that we needed. The house is tucked in the mountains, surrounded by beautiful trees, with a view of mountains, trees, sunrises and sunsets as far as you can see. We literally watched the leaves turn this week. The deck has comfortable furniture and a fire feature, which we love. We had a mixture of family and friends for our week and there is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space to relax, read, play cards. There are living areas on both floors. The location of the house is great for exploring back roads, downtown Blue Ridge, Apple orchards, wineries, and a cidery. Great place!! ##### Leigh Ann S. The layout with a master on main and walk in showers was perfect. A nice big well stocked kitchen was appreciated. Love the furniture and decor. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and having wood already onsite. The layout on the downstairs level was perfect as well with two bedrooms on opposite sides of the house, both with en suite full bathrooms. We liked the spacious decks with a hot tub, fire pit, and ample seating. There’s a big tv and comfy seating downstairs and a pool table which was fun. The view is very nice too. It feels very remote but is only about 15 minutes from town. The only thing I would add is another sofa or recliner upstairs so all can have comfy seating to watch a movie. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the views are absolutely stunning! This was even during the winter so I can imagine they would be even more breathtaking in the other seasons. The cabin is only 1/2 mile off the road, but we could not see another cabin from the back porch. We loved the privacy. I would recommend a 4 wheel drive during times of ice or snow. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked. The bathrooms were all super nice and it was very convenient that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Our teen and older sons loved the fire pit on the porch and sat out there just reading and playing games even in 30 degree weather. There were lots of well thought out little extras. Fantastic covered porch perfect for sitting and enjoying the outdoors. The cabin was well laid out with very cool cabin appropriate furniture. The bathrooms felt spa quality with the unique designs. There was even a pool table on the lower floor were we enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the gourmet kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for a full thanksgiving meal down to the electric hand mixer we used for the mashed potatoes and the electric carving knife for the turkey. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, and generous with supplies. But…the back porch with fireplace overlooking the mountains offered the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. So relaxing. We had deer and Turkey each day right below our deck. Property owner responded immediately upon contact during our stay and is so kind. Location is great for day trips out to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Helen, waterfalls, beautiful drives, orchards and vineyards. We have already talked about going back. ##### Leigh Ann S.
