For those arriving by air, the nearest airport is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), just under a 2-hour drive away. Consider renting a car to fully experience the beauty of the North Georgia mountains at your own pace. Once you're here, the best way to explore Blue Ridge is by car, allowing you to easily access hiking trails, waterfalls, Lake Blue Ridge, and the charming downtown area.
