The living area's vaulted ceiling and huge stone fireplace pair perfectly with the luxe leather sectional and the amazing view you have from every seat! Off the kitchen is an en-suite king bedroom with its own private screened-in deck. There are 4 swivel resort-style chairs and of course the perfect view of the mist coming off the mountains and the lake beyond. The perfect spot for a game of cards or a comfy chat after a day of adventure! Each bedroom has its own brand new memory foam mattress and a Smart TV, and the guest suite has a sparkling new vanity and tub/shower combo. “I never needed to watch TV, the view was so stunning and so dynamic. There's resort-style outdoor dining with a dedicated grill area and “captain” seating for the “executive” chefs. And then there's the huge hot tub in probably the best location in Blue Ridge, nestled on the deck's promontory with a direct view out to the beauty of Lake Blue Ridge and the treetops with 24/7 views, from glorious sunrises to dark skies filled with stars and fireflies. This is where memories to last a lifetime are made. “One of my personal favorite 'added bonuses' was stargazing! After dark we turned off the cabin lights and let our eyes adjust to the night sky - truly amazing!! Me and my husband just sat on the deck with glasses of wine and looked up, for like an hour - felt like 10 minutes! My top memory, as a parent, is probably watching the kids go crazy over this cabin - but this was something special, just for us ;)” - Kati, '23 But wait, there's one last secret spot that makes Majestic Mountain Lodge so unique. Head down the outdoor stairs past a tiered garden and suddenly a truly majestic stone patio is revealed. Cozy adirondacks surround a built-in firepit where the forest surrounds you, the adventure is palpable and hotdogs or smore's are definitely a requirement – time flies here! Although you COULD spend your entire vacation at the lodge, you owe it to yourself to experience all that the Blue Ridge area has to offer. We also recommend making the drive to the Swinging Bridge on the Toccoa River, so beautiful. Other things to note ★Roads throughout the area are often curvy and narrow. 2WD vehicles will do fine under normal weather conditions, but 4WD may be required for icy or snowy weather. ★The cabin is regularly sprayed for bugs, but please note that you're visiting the North Georgia mountains, and our bug friends live in and around the neighborhood and the Blue Ridge area. You'll likely see a friend or two if you leave the doors or windows open. ★Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500\. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. ★After each guest, we thoroughly clean the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. Our garbage service will not collect our garbage unless it is bagged and tied off. You can feel free to use the indoor garbage can, which our cleaners will remove when cleaning the unit. Or if you would like to take the garbage to the outside can, please ensure it is properly bagged (extra bags are located under the kitchen sink) and tied off. After placing it in the outdoor garbage can, please be sure the lid is secured to keep our wildlife from gaining access. This cabin has it all, you won’t be disappointed! Breathtaking views of the mountains and lake, beautiful sunrises especially. Spent so much time in the hot tub, the lower level game room, and just enjoying quality family time in this perfectly appointed cabin. The room set up is ideal, we loved all the extra screened in outdoor areas/balcony’s off each room. Expect to drive about 15 min just to get up/down the mountain though, but it became second nature after awhile. We spent a lot of time staring it. Amazing. Second: the property managers were also absolutely ridiculous in an amazing way, probably the best management company I've ever dealt with and we've done vrbo for 20 years. House: Thank goodness it looks like a cabin and not some modern white washed grey toned box. It's the exact perfect compliment to the outdoor view, it's wood is warm, the tile and counters were warm and woodsy, the appliances were TOP OF THE LINE, every item you need to cook was there....comfy furniture, fun gameroom and lots of deck space. Beds were comfy. Shower in the master was yummy. We cant say enough about this home. Town: Nearby blueridge was quaint, clean and friendly. We hiked, tubed and drove over to Dawsonville to race 60 mph go karts. The area offers a lot of activities and good food. Anything bad to report: No....not even close. Besides the regular amenities, we enjoyed the fireplaces, the arcade games, the pool table, the screened-in porches, and the hot tub under the stars. Having coffee at sunrise on the deck was breathtaking, and a great way to start the day. Something to be aware of is the drive to the house includes a 3-mile narrow, gravel road with a lot of switchbacks, so you have to be careful. But once you’re at the house, it is easy to relax and enjoy everything it has to offer. It’s hands-down, one of the nicest rentals we’ve ever stayed in. ##### Kim R. As usual, the pictures do not do justice of the amazing views. I have always believed that if you are going to the mountains, then you should stay in the mountains. This cabin definitely qualifies. It’s worth the short drive from downtown Blue Ridge. The kitchen was well equipped with commercial grade appliances. The highlight of the trip was watching the Geminid meteor shower from the hot tub! We will definitely stay here again. Host- Melissa was an excellent host and very accommodating. Sadly, I had a friend pass away the week before our trip. I called Melissa late on Wednesday afternoon and asked if we could adjust our dates to attend his service. Since there were no conflicts with other bookings, she made the changes and was very sympathetic with our situation. I am very thankful for her kindness. ##### Andrew S.
