This cabin is beautiful, clean, cozy, and has the most extraordinary view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You are within 5 miles of an adorable downtown, but the minute you turn off the main road, you find yourself in a quiet and beautiful mountain wonderland. These hosts have considered absolutely every creature comfort to ensure your trip is like a home away from home. Potato peeler (!), Keurig and k-cup assortment, grill tools, seasonings, large dog bowls, etc., are among the details provided by these gracious hosts. We were elated to be greeted by a home full of Christmas decorations. It added a little extra something to our trip. Sofas and beds are cozy. Blankets add an extra touch. There’s even a washcloth bar in the shower. The outdoor fireplace was amazing space to relax. We would definitely return. It is very close to Blue Ridge and the drive up to the cabin is easy and plenty of parking space for 2 vehicles. We had a storm that knocked out internet and Joe kept us updated on when the provider would be restoring internet to the neighborhood. I’ve stayed at dozens of rental properties and this may have been the cleanest one. The linens and towels all felt/smelled great (which is annoyingly rare). Location is incredible, a few minutes from town but once you’re there it feels completely isolated and great view. It was super clean, spacious, but positioned within five minutes of civilization, so it was super easy to access what we needed. The grocery store and gas station were just a stones throw away. It is easily accessible and not too high up which is what we wanted, to be accessible to Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Helen and wherever without a longer drive coming down from the top of a mountain. This cabin was perfect for that. Beautiful views from the spacious deck, perfect for coffee in the AM and to wind down in PM. The cabin had everything we needed, and it was immaculate, as in, I wear socks inside and my socks never got dirty, that’s how clean. The towels were fresh and clean, the beds comfy. Even though the weather was getting warmer during the day, we had requested the gas fireplaces ready to turn on if we wanted, and we did just for ambience. We even made a fire one evening in the wood- burning outdoor fireplace so we could enjoy sitting around it watching the embers. The hot tub was also immaculate and we enjoyed it every evening after a day of hiking and shopping. The kitchen was stocked well, and everything worked as it should. Joe was super nice and efficient to deal with, we would definitely contact him again for a rental. We loved hiking in various areas and tooling around some. I don’t need to go back to Helen, it’s a bit cheesy, but we did have a great breakfast at Hofer’s and some yummy baked goods. There is a variety of trails, rivers and waterfalls in the area to enjoy.
