"Loved this property from the moment we got there!! Just the fact it was on the bay and we got to wake up every morning to the boats and water was an extra bonus!! The house was amazing!! We had everything we needed from the moment we stepped foot into the house and anything we needed was promptly addressed by the host!! I would definitely stay here again!!! A"

Marshland Cottage • Walk to Wickford Village

"This is a fantastic little gem. If anything the listing undersells how cozy this place is. We stayed for an extended weekend with our two kids. The cottage has very old, well maintained bones. This is something that you walk into feeling that it's been there for easily 100 years. You can see it in the exposed wood beams and polished floors. It is incredibly well updated with modern amenities, full kitchen, spacious bathrooms, and air conditioning. The decor is full of cozy antiques too. You cannot beat this place for location. We were within two blocks of the main town yet still in a cozy quiet nook. We easily had half a dozen places for meals within a 5 minute walk. Yet when we got back we could also relax to the peaceful silence over the marsh. We even saw several herons during our stay. The Dave's grocery store is a mile away- I walked WITH a stroller and it was relatively easy. If you have family this is within walking distance of several beautiful playgrounds, too. Driving wise it was super easy to get around. Would love to find an excuse to return to this adorable cottage."

"The place was very nice and clean. Plenty of room and beds were comfy. Great view and convenient. Bathroom you have to share but we made it work fine. We came during the nor’easter weekend and was not able to sit on porches or do the water activities. Location was great and food near by was very good with little shops around it. We drove back and forth to Newport which was not a big deal. Do recommend. This was a girls trip of seven. Side note there are stairs to bedrooms in case you can’t get up stairs."
