« Clean room. We stayed in a "cabin", which has 4 apartments in it. Older property. Could use updating. Very clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Grounds were lovely. »

« No bottled water offered. Hair dryer in room didn’t work. No extra roll of toilet paper in room. Otherwise, room & property were clean and it was pretty convenient to downtown Blowing Rock. Staff was friendly & helpful. »

« Room couldn't seem to cool down around time for bed even though I had it turned way down. However it was a super hot weekend. Finally around 2am I could tell we were making headway and we're able to finally go to sleep (soundly).
Soap/shampoo dispenser in shower was completely empty, which I was sad because it smelled so good (the conditioner anyway)
Otherwise the room was spacious, clean, and we were happy. »

« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here!

« Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...
