"Stayed over the weekend of 4/24 to 4/26. The only reason we stayed was because we drove almost 5 hours and were too tired. The beds are concrete and had traces of bugs, the pillows were small enough to be basically decorative,the bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly and had a huge chunk of wood missing, the ironing board was extremely stained, there is what could only be mold around the whole bathtub as well as gaps in the floor around the corners. The lobby still had Christmas decorations up so upkeep doesn’t really seem like a priority for the property. At roughly $60 a night, you could do worse, though. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and seemed as though they’ve been told a million times about the rooms and all the could offer was an apology. "

"Excellent anniversary tripThis property is unbelievable! Very private and peaceful with lush trees and a private dock where the bass are plentiful. The cabin was hands down the best in provisions. Everything was thoughtfully planned to ensure our comforts. The location is secluded and yet close enough for activities. We enjoyed the Apalachicola Forest and wildlife management areas. Saturday we experienced the 8th annual Wildflowers Festival in nearby Blountstown. Our host responded immediately to any questions prior, during and after our stay. We are looking forward to returning "

"If your only concern is a bed with clean sheets and a place to shower, this should do. That being said, it’s not a good place. It would honestly just take a bit of paint and a much better job of cleaning the common areas for this to be a much nicer place. Until that happens unfortunately, it’s pretty much a dump."
