"We enjoyed our stay in Daylesford at Tara cottage. We travel with our dog and the amenities were good. My only criticism is that the cottage has a steep uneven set of steps to enter with a rather rickety hand rail. It had been raining and was rather muddy around the front door. I didn’t feel safe going up and down the steps to the road where our car was parked. "

"The Tuscan promotion is no idle exaggeration in terms of interior decorating and exterior, sculpted hedges... Tuscany with views of kangaroos. Well-appointed and equipped kitchen and lounge area, good local provisions, galleries and shopping close by. A heater in the shower area would be useful but great hot water system. Easy access and thoughtful host. I enjoyed my stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Macedon Ranges Views. Ian and Ruth were absolutely lovely and made us feel most welcome. The view was just spectacular. The house was clean and had everything we needed as well as a 2L bottle of milk which was so thoughtful indeed. The beds were really comfy and warm. We will definitely be back again!"

"Lucini cottage is one of a small group of cottages set in secluded street just off the main road in Hepburn. All I can say, is WOW, what a gorgeous and welcoming place. We arrived on a very cold night and after a long drive we appreciated that the lights and gas log fire place were on to greet us. Beautifully decorated and very cozy and only few minutes drive to Daylesford town centre."

"A fantastic property, well supplied with everything you could need. The breakfast provisions were excellent - the local bread in particular was a highlight. Great location, and the views were spectacular. Just what I needed for a relaxing weekend away."

"The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay."

"This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....

"We had a great stay at the property, it was exactly what we needed! The property is conveniently located being so close to town (walking distance). The kids loved their bedroom, the games provided, and the Easter treats were a very sweet touch. The whole house was very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Would love to stay again."

"Cozy, clean, mud and brick cottage on a large property, with bush tennis court and a dam. Elbert welcomed us to the property with a fire prelit in the woodstove with enough firewood and kindling to last the trip. A chat about the local area and expansive property followed, with instructions on how to use the woodfire oven. Over the weekend we enjoyed the local hospitality and the excellent accommodation. 10/10, will stay again!"
