The cottage was modern inside and had everything required for a short stay. There was a nice view from the back windows of the township and Wombat Hill. The back garden was large and good for our dog to explore. Unfortunately the imitation log fire was not working, but heating provided by reverse cycle AC. We travel with our dog and the amenities were good. My only criticism is that the cottage has a steep uneven set of steps to enter with a rather rickety hand rail. It’s a bit like something out of a fairy tale: behind an impenetrable wall of plants and small trees, lies a hidden beauty. Fortunately accessible down a charming pathway.
