Hideaway in Hays Beach: Western Sandy Shore of Chesapeake Bay and 5g WiFi!

"One of the top rental homes we have stayed in! Our family of 6 enjoyed staying at this tucked away beach home! Jocelyn's home was nicely decorated, super clean, had comfortable mattresses, and had lots of seating for large families to eat and play games inside and outside. Also, her home was completely stocked with just about anything you would need. And unlike many other rentals, everything was in great condition including the pots and pans! Can't say enough good things about this place! We would definitely come back!"

"Trevor's location was amazing!!!! We were super close to the natural reserve which my daughter loved as a photographer. It sits on the bay tucked within a save place to canoe without choppy waters. My daughter pulled the kayak out and she ran circles around John and my canoe while we explored the inlets. It gave all three of us a chance to enjoy the water together which was one of the reasons we picked this place.The home was quirky with the cheeky taxidermy, and had gorgeous view windows to the front and back of house. Everyone had their own bedrooms and slept comfortably.There is a huge tree in the back yard with a hammock we all enjoyed. If you want to connect with nature, this is the place!!We spent as much time in their back yard as we did inside the home. The location was surprisingly convenient to dash out for diner and groceries or sit back and enjoy the quiet peaceful country life. We mentioned that it was like stepping back in time to look outside with only views to water, farmland and the nature reserve. What a differentiator!!!Trevor, our host, was super easy to communicate with while we stayed there. The place was very easy to access and get settled. We would stay there again in a second!!!"

"It is like going back in time!! The Hotel is a very interesting Landmark!! It is very peaceful!! The Hotel and landscaping is beautiful!! It is off the beaten path however, it is still a perfect location, especially with the ferry ⛴️ service right there!! Everything thing is wonderful regarding what you would want in your accommodation, especially, the staff and their passion for making your stay at the Whitehaven Hotel a memorable one 🌹🌹"

"We you this place for the groomsmen’s house and it was perfect! They allow multiple cars to be parked I. The driveway which is super helpful especially when you have multiple people coming from different places. The kitchen and table was excellent we were able to sit everyone around the table and enjoy brunch! I would definitely recommend!"

"We had an excellent stay and everything in the house is as advertised. The owners have done a great job anticipating needs and we really had the best time over a long weekend. Patrick was responsive and helpful. Only part that was less than perfect was the jellyfish in the bay but that is obviously out of the owners hands! The private beach was amazing and the we loved kayaking and crabbing with their provided crab pots on the creek side of the house. The house was clean, the view was amazing, and I would fully recommend this stay to any group. "

"We had a lovely stay as a family of five at this location. There was plenty of common area space for us to be together, but also plenty of space to spread out when everyone needed a little down time. There are so many things to explore outdoors in the surrounding area (which we enjoyed!) and then we appreciated being able to come back to the house and relax on the deck while watching nature around us (especially the deer!). The home was well kept and clean and though we came prepared, it had anything else we could have needed while away. We highly recommend this location and hope to stay again some day!"

"Property is beautiful and well taken care of. We had a small problem when we got there but the host answered right away and everything was taken care of quickly. House is well supplied with everything you need. Pet friendly house. There is only 1 dog crate available between the 2 houses. I don't think thats clear in the description. If you need 2 or if it's being used you have to take your own. The island is beautiful and quiet. Very friendly people."
