"Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice rooms and good restaurant. All in the heart of the Dordogne region."

"Very gracious hosts, delicious food and comfortable room. "

"Nice cosy hotel at a great location."

"Wonderful property. "

"Central location to explore the area. Nice little town. "

"This was easily the nicest place we ever stayed at - immaculately clean and the most hospitable hosts you ever met - wonderful and memorable "

"Very cozy property with a wonderful host and delicious food."

"Just superb, we had an amazing stay here and the surrounding villages were all just so beautiful, can’t recommend highly enough "

"Somewhat mixed feelings. We arrived and the budget room we had booked was tiny and had no draw space to put clothes and only a rail to hang things. We requested a larger room and got one at an extra cost which was fine. The location was stunning over looking a field of sunflowers (its a shame they had gone past their best. We chose the hotel as it was out of the town but had a restaurant, unfortunately it was not open on the night we arrived (Friday night!) so we had to walk the busy road...

"Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead."

"Great quiet country location with a welcoming host. Large comfortable room."

"Super stay. Lovely, little campsite. Great facilities. Pool was fun. Snacks and drinks available on site. Friendly hist."

"We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. The pool area is relaxing and picturesque, while our gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope we can come backa again soon, "

"Kind courteous and accommodating host and hostess. A beautiful chateau in lovely surroundings. The local area and restaurants deserve further investigation. As recommended by our hostess- Restaurant Petite Tonnelle definitely worth a visit. 5 stars. Thank you"

"Fair price, and great location "

"Lovely small hotel in Monpazier. Staff were outstanding in every respect. Food in the restaurant was very good although the menu was limited for a stay of more than a few days."

"Beautiful hotel, easy to find, excellent food!"
