Had a wonderful stay in this hostel for 2 nights. The decor, quality, heating, staff, location, etc. were all brilliant. I will definitely be back for another stay.
What a find base camp Snowdonia was. Very easy entry and check-in, as we arrived late and it was dark. The bedroom was very clean and the individual bunks with curtains made it very private, even though we were sharing. The whole place was very secure.
The hostel is in a great location in the centre of Betws-y-coed. The rooms are good, the showers and toilets excellent and clean. The communal area is nice with seating, games, books and maps. There is very minimal kitchen facilities, which is unusual for a hostel, but okay for simple things. We had a problem accessing the property, so make sure you have been sent the door code if arriving out of hours
This hostel is tip top. Staff, facilities and cleanliness could not be faulted. My only area of concern is the lack of lockers to secure valuables. Ther is also no laundry which I thought was unusual given the amount of guests hiking and participating in strenuous outdoor activities.
Great short stay to access Snowdon. The accomodation was exceptionally clean and very smart. A little bit of work to do in the bedroom to tidy up the damaged walls and skirting board but otherwise faultless and I am being very picky. Great proactive contact and helpful staff with warm welcome. Excellent adoption of technology to make stay more convenient including self serve tuck shop for an early morning. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
