"Properly is obviously older and needs to be refreshed. It’s not dirty, but it definitely needs to be updated. The room I was given has a smell of long ago smoking. It smells like the carpets or the drapes need to be replaced. The hotel’s neighborhood has seen better days. A hotel shuttle driver warned me against walking to a nearby restaurant, telling me that there is often a police presence in the area addressing ladies of the evening plying their wares, and that some female guests had been robbed on the street recently. I didn’t feel like I was ever in danger, but I’m a single guy who stands 6’3” and kind of oblivious. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. "
