At the breakfast there were no more eggs and regular coffee. The only employee I saw seemed too busy to take care of all these details. The AC was so so. I understand it's under renovations but they don't even seem to try to make up for that. On the positive side it was quiet until about 7:30 when the construction workers started. ...

« While the staff were helpful, the hotel was poorly maintained. Due to construction, the parking lot was difficult to navigate. Regarding the room, the sink was emitting sewer gas which made the bathroom extremely unpleasant to use. There was dirt between the floorboards and walls. The mattress was enclosed in a cover, which made it difficult to examine for stains. As a result, we were unable to locate signs of bed bugs despite waking up covered in obvious bites. I don’t recommend staying at this...

« I arrived tired and was directed to a side door for entrance. The room key did not open the exterior door, so I had to drag my luggage back to the main desk. The clerk did not issue a new key, assuring me that my room would open. It did not. I went back to get a new key and slid into my bed too tired to look for dinner. The clerk should have issued a new key immediately. »

« I came to Topeka to visit family. My cousin recommended the property and I was not disappointed. My room was clean and spacious with everything I needed. The location was perfect. I was about 10 min from everything,,,dining, shopping, and family. The staff was helpful and had immediate answers to my questions. I didn't get to enjoy the pool; however, I had breakfast every morning. It was delicious. Thanks for a great stay. Hyatt Place is my number 1 choice for future stays. »
