Lots of nearby Acadia trails and the downtown area has many nice stores and restaurants. The host was great and provided helpful tips. It had decent access to Acadia National Park, but the drive to Bar Harbor and most locations in the park were 30 minutes. The shower is really small. When cool/cold outside, it can get quite cold in the cottage due to the lack of insulation and small heaters, but plenty of blankets were available.
