"Our room was basic but comfortable. The main lodge was the best part of this property and we enjoyed relaxing in the common areas. The lovely teas and coffee available 24/7 were a really nice touch. Everything is walkable in this lovely village."

"The staff was extremely friendly, the room was simple, but very clean, and the breakfast was good. Extras like coffee, tea, sweet tea, hot chocolate, and yummy cookies in the lobby were great! The only thing I wish they had was someplace to put a bar of soap in the shower. I would definitely stay again."

"Room was very clean and nicely equipped. Upon checking in I was "upgraded" at no cost to a room in the main building. This was after I asked about safety of items locked and covered in my vehicle. One biggest complaint is that the doors to the outside were not locked at night. I have heard a lot about past troubles at the location UNDER DIFFERENT OWNERSHIP and think that increased security would help. According to local people I spoke with there are a group of people living at the hotel who are in care of Social Services. While I support offering this initiative, I also think that security should be important to all."
