Die Betten/Bettwäsche waren feucht und musste ausgetauscht werden, da sich alles sehr unangenehm auf der Haut angefühlt hat. Sorry, aber das kann man heute nicht mehr zur Unterkunft anbieten. "I was really impressed by this property and the city it's in, Bergish Gladbach. First, the hotel is owned and managed by the son of the original owner. It is a well cared for establishment, which sits on the west side of Bergish Gladbach on the edge of a forest that surrounds the city. This area of Germany is so impressive for care they take of their public parks. It really is a beautiful location.
My room was clean and nice with the latest of comforts. I was specially impressed by the in-room refreshments in the refrigerator. It was stocked with beverages of all kinds - alcoholic and non alcoholic. All were reasonably priced. Their restaurant seemed like a very good place to eat. While I didn't get to have dinner there, the breakfast fare is excellent. I got to meet and talk with the owner manager and his wife, both of whom I thought were very nice. If you stay here, you must take the 25 minute walk into Bergish Gladbach and experience the local restaurants and culture. Though I don't speak German, the restaurant staff was very friendly and accommodating. Should I find myself in Cologne again, I will definitely try to book a room here again. "
