"Lovely small cottage. Easy check in and check out. We were told on the day we could check in earlier than 5pm. Place was warm and comfortable. Good location and easy to find. Balloch nearby has some lovely food places. Firelogs were extra charge which was disappointing as usually is included as standard and you could only get it before 4.30 which is when we arrived so we didn't get to use this. Overall good stay."

The unit could definitely accommodate a good amount of people and for the cost subpar bedding and towels could be expected. The unit was clean but not something I would choose again. "The host was attentive, but the place was under renovation, and he didn’t tell us ahead of time. There were holes in the walls, the shelves were dirty and the whole air was dingy. We had to ask for a kettle and pots and pans. There was no sponge or fairy liquid or sponge to clean the plates. The cooker didn’t work; we had to wait until the night (11 pm) for it to work. It was not as advertised."
