"The Hip Mermaid House was perfect for us. It was clean, well appointed and the location was good as it was between my daughter's place and the naval base which was convenient for all. Patrick was a great host and was right on top of one small issue we encountered and communication was immediate. Unfortunately, we were only there for two days and for military reasons, so we never got to use the adorable back yard with the chairs and firepit. Added amenities included soap, shampoo and conditioner...

"The house feels like brand new. Everything was fresh and the place was very clean. It is a bit from town so if you do not have a car it will be inconvenient. The kitchen was a little sparsley stocked as far as pots and pans, etc. but there were enough dishes. If this place had a washer/dryer it would be perfect! Would recommend for a long term stay if you have a vehicle."
