The Hotel Garibaldi

"Our room was clean and good size. Just the bed was a bit uncomfortable. It seemed to sag, as me and my husband seemed to end up in the middle of the bed together. It was hard to stay on a side. Breakfast was good. The staff very friendly and helpful. Going to eat was a challenge. It seemed some places were out of business or closed. Not the hotel's fault but wanted to mention."

"The view of the ocean was amazing! Some of the normal amenities were not available, such as a telephone in the room, wash cloths, and only one Kleenex in the box. The given password in the laminated sheet in the room was incorrect, but the password that was given as an alternate on a post-it note finally worked after a number of tries and an hour or two. Otherwise, the stay of one night was pleasant."

"Front desk staff were ultra awesome! They totally made the experience :-) BTW, the bed was super fluffy...I normally wake up 2-5 times per night and I didn't wake up once while sleeping here. I would do it again just to sleep in the bed."

"Pet friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean, but needed some updates. Specifically, the electrical outlets were very loose, and out electronics plugs were falling out of the outlets."

"We were only staying for 1 night with our dog. The room was clean and had the essentials. I will say that the rooms and outside of the property could use some updates. We ran the fan in our room and it was pretty loud and it sounded like a plastic bag was inside of the unit. The WiFi was very spotty and didn’t work well. The bed was comfortable. For what we paid for the night it didn’t really seem worth the price but it was the cheapest option available for the dates we went."

"Small town great location. Check in staff and housekeeper was amazing, both were so helpful and such a vibe. Oversize rooms! My only complaint is the lighting in the parking lot. Too dark needs more /better lighting to feel safe."

Oceanside Ocean Front Cabins

"The view is worth it! The cabin was a little musty and damp smelling. The air circulation wasn't the best. We opened the window to let the ocean air in and plugged in the fan. The communication for check in was great. We did utilize the frig to put drinks in. The mini coffee pot was good. But, I would have preferred the complimentary coffee to be in a sealed packet rather than loose in a tupperware. The sleepy beachtown in itself with it's stunning views trumped those minor details. Worth it!"
