My father is an octogenarian so the single-level aspect appealed to us. There are steps to get inside so ask specifics depending on your accessibility needs. "Wonderful location to the water front. House was clean and accommodating. Seeing the original key to the house added to the houses nostalgia. Great location to visit Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout. The owners were out of town during our visit but still made sure we enjoyed some shrimp. Shout out to Dace for helping with our questions and his food recommendations while his parents were out of town. Hope to return next year."

"The house as listed is small but we found it be a perfect size for us. It was very clean when we arrived and came with all the appliances we would ever need on vacation. It is well set up for a vacation and obviously someone has spent a lot of time, effort and I imagine money in refurbishing it at some point. The location is quiet and as described in the listing very close to the waterfront. We would rent again if coming back to the area which we may well do as it is a nice part of the country."

Also, I am a Beaufort native and I recognized the name of the hostess as a member of a family with whom I was familiar. My family had a very comfortable stay. The facilities were described precisely and the hostess helped us enjoy our stay."
