"The A-frame itself was cozy and well-stocked, and it exceeded our expectations for comfort. We slept very well up in the loft, with the sound of the Skykomish lulling us to sleep. The hot tub was a nice bonus, too. But the real star of this show was the jaw-dropping scenery. To be surrounded by soaring jagged peaks and high forested ridges, with the turquoise river churning by, was awe-inspiring."

The mountains were enjoyed throughout the day, the running water of the river drowned out the worries of the day, and our children enjoyed spending a good portion of our day outside on the property. There was a lot of space, beautifully decorated, a king-sized bed, and extremely clean and cozy. "As with our previous visits, this one too was wonderful, even with an injured ankle. David was very good about checking to see how we were doing after I took a fall and ended up at the closest ER. He even paid us a visit the next day to offer any needed help. Because our flight back home wasn't for three more days, I fixed me a place in a recliner in front of the big picture window with a view of the river and mountains. What a restful place to be! Now that we are home, I still wish for a recliner seat with a river mountain view, good for the body, good for the soul! We think we need to return after I heal for a make-up vacation!"
