Great location for exploring Acadia National Park! This is a small inn attached to the Otter Creek Market---very friendly with a low-key continental breakfast for guests.
The Inn was a perfect spot to stay just outside of Bar Harbor but close to the park. They were so accepting of our dog who traveled with us and the room was very cozy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Inn rooms were out because of double booking and the owner gave us a cabin. The cabin was well equipped and the location was quiet and convenient for exploring Arcadia. The lobster dinner and clam chowder at the store is a must!
Very clean. Excellent location on Mount Desert with easy access to Acadia, Bar Harbor Northeast Harbor and Southwest Harbor, Staff is very helpful. Would stay again as this is budget friendly,
The property is very cute and cozy. All the basic needs are there. The staff were super friendly and helpful. their continental breakfast is a nice touch! I would 100% recommend. A small suggestion is to include a microwave (even if it's in a common area).
Property was clean and as described in listing. Room was very basic with furnishings outdated. Staff very helpful and friendly. Close to Acadia park entrance and free parking.
Very cute, family run Inn. The proprietors were very friendly and accommodating.
Homemade muffins at the Continental breakfast (included). It's very close to the entrance to Arcadia and 10 minutes from Bar Harbor!
Very cute little room at a good price. Close to all there is to do in acadia as well as bar harbor. Note the rooms do not have AC or microwaves, There is a microwave available in the market during business hours. Plan accordingly and you will be great! The owners are very kind and friendly. Will stay again!
Super lovely stay! We ended up being late for check-in because of our flight being delayed. This was no problem at all, the manager sent us a message with a code to unlock our key for our room and details for breakfast the next day. The room was clean and cozy, loved waking up to the sound of nature and the beautiful nature outside, I want to go back now!
This nostalgic inn was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Acadia with our pup. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the continental breakfast was appreciated, and the store next door with the delicious clam chowder rounded out the experience.
An older historic inn with quaint comfortable rooms and very good service. Close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and Central to the rest of the island without the hustle and crowds of Bar Harbor. It was nice to retire each evening sitting by the fire pit enjoying the sounds of nature.
Miss Evelyn and Miss Dan were outstanding hosts. They have been in the area for a while and they know all the nice little quiet spots to visit and beat the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor.
What a cute mountainside place. Loved to hometown feel and friendly staff. The market next door(which belongs to hotel) is great- has everything including whole, fresh lobsters that they will cook for you!
