Very clean, comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms need to be renovated - new doors, windows, bathrooms but it was a quiet, comfortable place. Very conveniently located across from the CAT ferry.

Room was ok and spacious enough. The bathroom was small and very outdated, and in need of maintenance. Location was great for access to Acadia, too far of a walk to the downtown area. Breakfast options were poor.

For staying a bit out of Bar Harbor, it wasn't a terrible hotel. Definitely needs some updating. And small small small rooms, entering from the outside. I was definitely expecting a bit nicer, but the shower and beds were just fine. VERY convenient for our very early hikes in Acadia National Park. Breakfast sub par. Bagels and cereal. Considering pricing IN Bar Harbor, and not too many choices, a night or 2 here won't kill ya.

Staff was great and location was perfect for what we were looking for but the room was damp and moldy smelling, the rugs were damp and moldy smelling and the clean towels were damp feeling. We all had mild respiratory symptoms because of it.

The staff was great. The prperty was very clean. The building is older and needs updating and is below average regarding handicapped accessibility to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was on the sparse side and very limited.

I cannot figure out why this hotel did not receive a much higher rating on trip advisor or other rating platforms. The staff was terrific- friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the coffee-maker and fridge were a nice addition. The continental breakfast was generous and had a number of options, helping us avoid having to find a restaurant each morning and allowing us to get into the park each morning before the crowds. The location was perfect- right near both Bar Harbor and the park. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room smelled of mildew. Even the bed sheets smelled. The carpets were wet and even opening the windows didnt help. The light fixtures in our room were full of dead bugs. The place itself had nice views and was in a cool location. The room wasnt well maintained the tub was backed up and the bathroom walls and door were water damaged.

This was a great location for what we wanted to do. The staff were friendly and nice. The breakfast adequate although nothing hot but water and coffee. The hotel could definitely use an update. It is a little care-worn. Bathroom tub & sink were a little dingy. The beds however were comfy and the rug seemed to be fairly new. We needed to leave a day earlier than anticipated and they were very agreeable & gracious about that. Even though it is situated on the main road into Bar Harbor, we did not hear the noise from traffic.

Close to town and all the places we wanted to go. Were on the second floor but on the end which was nice since we had our dogs with us. They give gift bags for our dogs which was nice. The only thing I'd say that wasn't easy , was parking. It seemed like there were more cars then parking spots . Other than that it was nice and you have an ocean view and can walk to the Arcadia boat tours if you do a boat tour
