Vacasa failure
Great location, just barely adequate kitchen to cook food. Plan on eating out. The grill was out of propane, the hot tub was cold and the coffee maker’s glass carafe was broken into a dozen pieces. I communicated these issues to Vacasa the day we arrived and three days later , when we left, nothing was fixed. Vacasa was responsive but it was all lip service. They had our money so what do they really care. The only real solution they had was for me to go find a propane tank and submit a receipt for reimbursement. That’s unacceptable considering we drove past the local office to get to our property. The best thing the owners could do is remove this property from Vacasa and manage it themselves.

Smells so bad
This house smelled so badly like litter box or feces. My husband had a pretty bad allergic reaction. He had difficulty breathing while staying in the living room so he stayed in the bedroom constantly. They kept telling us someone would come and deep clean the place but that didn’t happen. Vacasa said the local team would be contacting us but that didn’t happen either. We were denied to switch to a different place because this was apparently the first time someone complained. Well that wasn’t true. The roll out bed had a huge stain, so my daughter couldn’t even sleep on it. We kept asking every day to come and clean but that didn’t happen. We had to leave a day earlier because my husband had difficulty breathing in this place. And we received no refund. All they gave us was 50% back from the cleaning fee. What a joke! Not a good customer service and won’t be renting anything with Vacasa.

Great weekend getaway
The house was just as described. It was enough room for our family of 5, close enough to everything we wanted to do, & hot tub was great! The only issues, which were not deal breakers & I’d still stay again, were the fact the the loft is super hot for whoever stays up there and the smell of sewage. I assume it is coming from the garage disposal. We bought a candle and some febreeze spray and it was fine. We would definitely stay here again!

cute ski cabin
Pros: This cabin was really close to the ski slopes. The fireplace was great to come back to after a cold day on the mountain. Some of the reviews said the beds were hard, but we thought they were comfortable. We got lucky and had snow one morning, which was beautiful. Would definitely rent this place again. The only issue we had was there was an odd smell for two out of our three days.

Worst beds ever
No lights on when we arrived. The steps were completely in the dark the beds were worse than camping cots. The tv had multiple remotes we ended up watching tv in my room on the uncomfortable beds. The Jett’s in the hot tub did not work and my bed had a Hugh blue stain in the middle of the bed cover

5th ANNIVERSARY TRIP
The dome treehouse is so cute! The only thing i would change is to clean up the outside, make the fire pit lights work, and buy new furniture for the living room as both couches are broken. It's been mentioned in multiple reviews and hasnt been addressed. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay, we went to a concert (Amos Lee), and enjoyed our 2 night get away. We would stay again as the things that need updating don't make or break a place, but it would be nice to have some weedeating, trash picked up, and just overall clean up as mentioned above.

Area restaurants are excellent. Home needs more updated lighting inside, but is clean With most anything you need for your stay. Most disappointed with all the extra fees we had to pay including a fee for the hot tub even though we weren't in it during our stay because of daily rainfall

Cutest little round house!
Great location, super close to the slopes. The house was so cute and i loved all the windows looking into the forest and the rocks. So pretty. The house had everything we needed. The beds were cozy as well. The hot tin wasn’t as warm as I’d have liked. It was 96 one night and 98 another night. Kind of chilly when it’s 12 degrees outside. Other then that the house was awesome!

dissapointed
We were extremely dissapointed with this house. This is our 5th year to Beech....a hot tub is a must after a long day of skiing, it was lukewarm at best, we couldn't even use it. Next, not a single heater except for the one over the door worked :( and our last day was -3 with the windchill. The master bathroom shower is so ridiculously small I could barely turn around in it (I'm 5'2, 105lbs). Finally, the couches are destroyed. The back of one literally falls OFF if you try and recline it and the other one is so destroyed inside its so uncomfortable to sit on.

Meh
pros: Hot tub and location are positives. It was amazing since we got to view deer while in the hot tub. If you watched The Lion King as a child, upstairs brings back memories. I cannot criticize the location because it was so near to the slopes. Even at night, we felt secure. cons: There was dog hair all throughout, so I had to clean up the place before I felt at ease to relax. The shower curtains in the master bedroom had mold, which is disgusting. When we got there, the sofas needed to be replaced since they were broken. There isn't any heat in the bedrooms unless you keep the doors open, although to be honest, we occasionally got warm from the living room's central heating. All in all, I think this place would work for younger groups but not older people.

Worst Cabin rental experience
Pro's: Cabin was clean with a comfortable bed. Con's: Cabin was 40 degrees inside when we arrived. It took several hrs to warm up with only wall heaters. Fireplace did not work. Hot tub was not covered and had no privacy. There were no pictures disclosing this in the listing. We drove 6.5 hrs to enjoy a Fireplace and Hot tub. I would not have rented if I had know the hot tub wasn't covered and had no privacy. We stayed in the cabin 10 hrs and drove back home. I would not recommend renting this cabin. I would stay at another Vacasa managed property again. Vacasa did attempt to make things right.

Upon arrival we noticed the toilet seat was broken off the toilet. The shower curtains were covered in black mold, and the sink had shaving cream and hair smeared around the inside. Sent photos to Vacasa and they stated someone would reach out. Never heard back from them.

Another VRBO winner
Wife and I have become VRBO-evangelists, and this is another example of a great find. We had a few glitches but the actual stay was great. Enjoyed a nice fire one evening in the fire pit, property was easy to access and well furnished. There are so many deer in the area, and bears too based on the security measures taken to protect trash cans. There's an excellent brick oven pizza shop nearby and a general store where you can get supplies and firewood. Despite printed instructions, we never were able to get a fire inside. There were perhaps 8 separate remote controls (unlabeled and some apparently w/out batteries). We figured out the TV, but not the lights at the fire pit. Overall a great stay, with a few glitches that will hopefully be addressed soon.

Unsuitable
First of all only 1 bath towel on the property for a family of 4. I called several times and was told they would bring additional linens immediately. Ater 2 days, we went and purchased linens so that we could take showers without having to wait and do laundry before the next person showers. Shower curtains wrre disgusting and mildewy. Also purchased new shower curtain. Coffee pit did not work. Outside motion light did not work which made walking on the deck after dark treacherous. Made several contacts with management to no avail. Just kept getting automated reply that they would correct the situation. Which NEVER happened

The cabin was a waste of money. The gas logs did not work. The hot tub was not higher than 67 degrees. I called someone and they said they'd come fix it immediately. No one came. No one called. There was a bug in the bed. The shower was filthy. The tub drained slowly so you were standing in water while taking a shower. The lights didn't work. Some electrical outlets didn't work. It was awful. The whole experience was awful

Nice House
We were pleased with the house. There are a lot of controls to fans, gas fireplace, and TVs. We could not figure out the gas logs. We were not able to use the outdoor fire pit, because the weather did not cooperate. The hot tub did not work and no one came to address the problem during our stay; however, we only stayed overnight.
