Like others have said, the rooms are clean but the place is old and needs upgrading. The pool was out of service, the restaurant closed and the ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken. The coffee in the lobby was empty most of the time - the staff simply weren't paying attention. The staff were very polite at check in and out, but barely acknowledged you otherwise. We enjoyed our stay, but i would stay somewhere else next time.

Location was walking distance to Banff Downtown, and the Lodge also provided bus transportation if needed. There were a couple items to pick on related to cleanliness, but no big deal. Swimming pool was under maintenance, but hot tub was available. There were many restaurants around to choose from. Overall, the stay was great.

Although this property seems a little dated and older, it was a great location. 20 minute walk to the downtown area. The pool was closed during our stay so we couldn’t use it. But we were advised ahead of time. The Expedia VIP perks were great. Free bus pass to town and a $15 dining credit to a few restaurants. One per day per room.

Since the booking via Expedia I’ve reached out the hotel via message and they always replied. Check in was ok she did the best . Hotel very conveniently located, walking distance to town. Room was ok not very impressive, toilet had stain that couldn’t avoid seeing all the time , very disappointing. It is only around $200 to change the toilet and they couldn’t even think of that (didn’t want to post the picture ). Room service average. My point of view is owner should be able to do some upgrades ( minor) such as shower head. We loved the old look of the hotel and the wood fire place in the lobby. Front desk didn’t inform about road closures on Sunday for marathon during our check in , We learned and then asked, wish they told us. Seems to be front desk not very knowledgeable with the transit. We were given miss information about Roam transit #6. Check out nothing special, I asked for a receipt was told I have to ask Expedia since I booked with them. located in good spot but definitely needs an upgrade. Thank you all the staff.
