"Very welcoming. We stayed in the suite which was huge with 2 separate bedrooms and small dining area in the middle and a separate bathroom. Service and food was excellent. Especially the evening meals in the restaurant on the ground floor, all homemade meals - recommend the beef and ale pie! Breakfast was good, plenty of options even with a fussy child. There was confusion about parking at first but plenty on the main road and plenty in a public car park next door. There is actually some to the rear of the property for visitors but not very clearly identified. We weren't phased by being on a main road personally, we all slept very well. The little loch at the side of the hotel was a nice treat especially for a morning stroll. A local co-op next door to this too. Bakery and takeaways across the road if needed."

"Stayed with my husband and his brother for four nights. Very comfortable house in beautiful location. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Only minor problem was bathroom door kept sticking but I’m sure this will be resolved."

"Very quaint hotel. The staff were amazing. Loved the wee pub, choices of scotch whiskey, and the food. The village of Rothes made for easy access to distilleries and enjoying the area. I would stay again."

"We have stayed here many times over the years. The remote old world atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. There is a lovely view and the grounds are well kept. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, the food is excellent. Highly recommended if you need to get away from it all. "
