"Caretaker Kori was best ever ! Even though had very late night checkin ,she was there for us to open the cabin and help us get situated.. she even has started a fire in the wood burning stove for us !!! Ranch setting was like a national park the beautiful hiking trails, wildflowers, and even a waterfall. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven"

"My family of 7 just visited Sequoia National Park for the first time, which was amazing. But we were recommended to visit Mineral King, which we had never heard of. WOW..it all I can say about Mineral King, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, (i've traveled all over the world). This house is located on a hill top above the river which is a perfect location to visit both parks. You can hear the river at night and see 'Moro Rock Dome' from all the windows facing East. "Nice, comfortable cabin - we stayed there with 5 adults and two kids. The location is convenient and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Only issue we encountered was that the two bigger burners on the stove didn’t work - we were able to work around it but the heating the water for morning coffee/tea took a long time, lol! "

"We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!"

"After hiking in Yosemite and Sequoia for six days, we were very excited to soak in the hot tub on this property. Unfortunately, it was dirty with a wide band of scum along the upper edge of the water. Needless to say we did not use it. That was very disappointing as the inside of the home was pristine and very comfortable."

"We stayed in the main unit, a lovely and cozy cabin. The manager left notes about the weather and instructions on using everything in the cabin. The place had everything one could dream of, for a cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and quiet, and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We originally booked one of the small units. The weather was not good. It was snowing a lot, and the manager was very considerate and changed us to the main unit. We are very grateful for this change. "

"Accessibility to park and restaurants convenient. The cabin was very tidy and clean inside. Cabin definitely needs some repairs to help keep the flying and crawling night insects out. A good sealing around wall AC and door frames is needed. Old windows in bedrooms. One window doesn’t close all the way so flying little bugs come in through the screens."

"Truly remote cabin—full kitchen and bath. Very cute and cozy but with modern amenities. Large deck and grill and two functioning fireplaces. Free parking and a delicious very local restaurant-bar across the street. The place is movie scene perfect for a hallmark Christmas. The down sides being if you are tall the bathtub will require you to bend down if taller than 5’10”. While I fully expect rustic there were a lot of easy to dust cobwebs. "It was a lovely cabin maybe a bit small but most are. Its proximity to the main road was a bit challenging. Also we weren’t informed notice of the location up the hill until a few days before our trip date and by then it was too late to cancel. Furthermore if you choose this property be prepared for a winding road up the hill. Overall a pleasant experience at the property itself with spectacular views."
