Condo includes 2 parking places in secured, gated garage. The condo is directly off the garage elevator, located on a private and quiet end of the courtyard. The condo has three private sleeping rooms: The master suite (king bed) with ensuite bathroom; bedroom 2 (queen bed); and the loft area. In the loft is a queen bed, 2 twins, and 1 twin sleeper sofa. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. Total beds is 7\. Sleeps 11 guests. 2 bathrooms downstairs. There is an elevator from the parking garage to the courtyard area. Location is really wonderful - so close to the beach and the restaurants. Road noise was not an issue, plenty of parking (in a parking garage below the building). We arrived very late and unfortunately our front door lock decided it didn't want to work. Management was able to send someone out within 15 minutes to fix the lock and get us in and also bring us beach towels! The office is in the same building complex as the townhouse. Plenty of space inside with lots of beds. Might not be the best layout for little kids though. Beds are up in a loft at the top of a spiral staircase. 2nd bedroom has a door to the outside. The location was phenomenal and I appreciated the covered/gated parking. All I would say that’s critical is the stairs are a little scary/unprotected and I worried about my older children traveling them in the middle of the night to use the restroom. A short walk to a nice beach, nearby pier for walking, watching sea lions, dolphins, fisherfolk, paddle boarders, even a few brave swimmers. The place was well equipped with complete kitchen where we ate every meal, fireplace in good sized living room, beds comfortable, everything was clean, nicely decorated. Two families (10 total) stayed for a week and loved the condo and the location - plenty of shops, restaurants, bike rentals and the beach all within one block. The kids didn't even have to cross a street to get to any of it. Avila is wonderful, and we were close to activities in SLO and Pismo. Six adults and five kiddos ranging in age from 12-3, I was unsure if this unit would give enough room and it was perfect. Only wished we had a third bathroom but we all managed well. Reviewer Comments: What a lovely place to stay! We had 6 ladies sharing this condo and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The beds were very comfortable and the home was very clean. It was perfectly situated so close to the beach and we could walk everywhere (beach, shops, wine tasting, Bob Jones Trail, bike rentals). It was terrific! My only complaint was that the kitchen chairs were not comfortable to sit in. They sunk down into the frame of the chair when you sat in it.
