It was completely remodeled from the ground up, and inside, the home has brand-new appliances. The house has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and sleeps 12 guests. The Clarksville neighborhood is one of the most admired neighborhoods of Austin due to its proximity to everything and its admirable ability to hide in plain sight. Kennedy is ideal for families and groups, and it's within a short walking distance of some of Austin's best restaurants and less than a mile from the heart of downtown. So, get an authentic feel for Austin (the way it used to be and what it is becoming) by staying in this home and this neighborhood.

Tape, tacks, and other adhesives tend to peel paint and leave marks, etc. Glitter and confetti decor are also prohibited both inside and outside. Evidence will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250, plus the cost of damages to home.  
\-Enjoy a smoke, just not inside. Please ensure all doors and windows are shut and dispose of your ends in the outdoor trash bins. Indoor smoking will result in a sizable fine.  
\-Reservations made during Festivals and Conferences are non-refundable, i.e., SXSW, ACL, F-1, etc.

If you need to use all 5 rooms and it’s summer time, then I would not stay here. The 5th room is in a converted garage, which is only accessed through the side of the house. There is only a ceiling fan and a small fan in the corner to keep the room cool. Not to mention the large step up to the bathroom (not recommended for older guests), the bathroom itself was very small, the shower was in the corner and the doors don’t close all the way while showering, so you need to put a towel down so you don’t slip when you get out. Other than that, the location was great and place fit our needs

We really enjoyed our weekend stay! The property managers were very communicative, and the house itself looked even better in person than it did in the photos. Even with a group of 10 we had a comfortable amount of space. The best aspect was definitely the location. Very walkable!

#### Great Location! Close to everything!

We rented the house for my daughter’s graduation. I wish I found the house 4 years ago. We would have stayed here every family weekend. Restaurants and stores were walking distance. It’s in a great area in Austin. Management company responded immediately to all questions. It is a well equipped kitchen with many dishes and glasses. I would suggest washing them before use. Not a property issue but past guests haven’t gotten them as clean as they should be. Would stay here again!

#### Great downtown location!

Three generations of our family enjoyed a long weekend stay at the Kennedy while in town for a wedding. Five bedrooms allowed for us to have our own private spaces, but we spent most of our time in the spacious open living room and kitchen. The location is convenient to downtown and everywhere else we wanted to visit. Communication with the owner was always clear and quick. We would definitely return!

Overall great stay and neighborhood was great with great access to city. A little plumbing issue along with some critters that were found in the house but overall was great!

#### Prime Location

The location of this home made everything super easy! The house is modern and great for a large family like us. (5 + 1 local) Overall the home was great, but we felt that it could have had more kitchen utensils and food storage, and more of the little "amenities" that set a place apart. There is some wear and tear as can be expected from a dedicated rental property, but when we mentioned a couple to Deanna she was very responsive. (For example, the blender was cracked, and she offered to have another one delivered.) We had a great experience overall and would recommend the spot to friends. Have fun in Austin!

#### Great base for SXSW

A lovely property that was perfect for our party of 6. Very comfy beds, plenty of towels and linen and great facilities. A short walk away from bars and cafes and easy access to downtown by foot (approx 30-35mins) or by scooter. We loved the fire pit and outside seating area.

We were in Austin for a conference, and it was easy to get to the Downtown Marriott. The real appeal was a great place for our group to hang out and discuss the events from the day.

#### January weekend at Kennedy

Group of friends stayed for the weekend, excellent location in Clarkesville walk able to many things or short ride share. Good overall cleanliness and nice set up for a large group, some wear and tear on the property but overall no complaints, was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of parking for weekend stays, during the week street parking is restricted (drive ways holds 2 cars) so plan accordingly as its not mentioned till 2 days before the stay. Luckily our entire stay was during unrestricted hours and not a problem.
